Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) were released in 2013 and are slowly being adopted by states across the county. The standards are "rich in content and practice, arranged in a coherent manner across disciplines and grades to provide all students an internationally benchmarked science education" (NGSS, 2013).
